Visual identities and
graphic systems
for contemporary art
institutions.
A multidisciplinary visual practice by
Kamel & Gatien,
working at the intersection of art, design and cultural narratives.
We approach creation as an artistic and critical practice.
Our work is not about designing identities or systems, but about producing artworks that interrogate images, language and perception. Each piece is conceived as a singular object autonomous, situated, and deliberate.
Rather than responding to briefs, we engage with contexts: cultural, historical, technological. Museums, institutions and public spaces become sites of exploration rather than clients.
Every work emerges from a dialogue between meaning, material and form. What is shown matters as much as how it is constructed, and why it exists at this moment.
The result is not a visual solution, but an artwork, one that invites interpretation, friction and time.
